The only reason I can see doing this is maybe the customer wants a matte finish on a color you can't get or don't want to special order. Seem like a lot of extra work instead of just buying better vinyl IMHO.

The reason I uploaded that pdf version is I can't upload the original .ai file nor a .fs file here. But all cause the same issue so not sure how the file extension matters. It is when saving to FS (or apparently other formats) that causes the issue.

That is the file. It changes colors once you save it as an FS file and then reopen it. The original post shows the file pre-saved and post-saved as .FS.

Check out this file I converted to pdf. It opens fine and saves fine. Even previews fine but when I open it, it changes colors. Just FYI I'm using Flexi 12 sp3 p4 Build 113723

I should note that restarting Flexi didn't help. I even opened the file in Illustrator, saved as a PDF and it was still changing colors after saving to FS file.

Oddly this now happens every time I turn my monitors on. And has starting messing with my menu bar layout as well.

Not that I can tell. I don't let my computer sleep (this computer is almost 6 years old) and never had the issue until the new video card/4k monitors. All the programs on monitor 1 stay normal and even the small pop-up boxes (I always keep design central, fill/stroke editor open) stay on...

One other thing I find odd is half the time after I wake up my monitors my Flexi has moved to monitor 1 even though I keep it on monitor 2. Strange since this only happens about 25% of the time...the other 75% it stays where it should.

I suppose I can adjust the resolution on that monitor if it becomes an issue. But I really like how I can fit so much more on screen with the proper resolution. Not a big deal in Flexi but for my other monitor it makes a big difference of how much more I can fit on that screen.

I have problem every time I put a cartridge in on any color. Normally I have to pull it out and back in several times before it reads.

Like most corp logos they are normally hand drawn and not font based. Sometimes you may be able to find a similar font but rarely are they exact. If you can get a good straight on facing image of the letters you can use whatthefont to try and come up with something similar.

Change the 0.100 to a 0 and that should give you your normal contour options in place of the gray box.

Not a fun job but not that bad. Just a lot of disassembly if I remember. I usually take pictures to help remember how all the cables run and loop around things.
