+1 for color core. No need to paint. The paint won't last as long as the color core material. Order in your colors and base color. Route the panel and you are done.
You can also use this menu to access the number of pinch rollers your FC8000 thinks it has. So if you get a new pinch roller assembly you could add it to your existing machine and have the machine read it for material width.
Are you sure these are head strikes. Looks like the material might be hitting the heater on it's way out. Easy way to tell. Can you see the streaks in the print as they are being printed through the window? Or does this happen after it comes out from under the heater. These materials can...

Also if your someone who sets all their settings at the plotter side and only...
What cutting program do you use? Cutting Master or Flexi? You can change the style of the perforation cut. You can change the spacing it cuts and the spacing it skips. Just like bannertime said above. If you are closer to .75" for the cut (I believe it shows a line) and .05 for the...
Wondering if anyone has a solution to this. We operate 4 plotters on the same computer. All Graphtec FC8600-130. When you turn 1 plotter on this becomes the 1st plotter in cutting master because they all have the same name inside of cutting master. Not a big issue in the morning. Turn them...
I agree with the chain Idea. There should be some sort of slack needed to get those to slide off properly and they are not going to slide at an angle. Is the roller lowered as much as possible Those bearings should just barely fit over the center rod.
In this situation if we want to keep good terms with our customers we find out our costs and offer a discount that still covers all our cost. We don't profit on the misordered signs but we don't pay for their mistakes either. 9 out of 10 times this is an acceptable solution to both parties...
I don't think jpescobars comment is entirely correct. I believe that the 310/315 and 360/365 all have about the same medias available to them. I don't think there is a material the 360 can do that the 310 can't do. I may be wrong. But they are basically the same machines at heart. If you go...
That's what I'm saying though. Their materials are great. Their ability to get that across to cities and end users is the problem. They leave it up to you to convince the customer that their material is just as good. Instead of going out themselves and getting it spec'd in so that it's...
What about surface mounting the posts? This would only leave small holes for the concrete anchors. Which you could fill in when the sign is done. Something like you would use to mount a pergola to the ground.
Probably going to have to play with it. Avery recommends UV or Solvent printing. They don't recommend latex. Probably because latex is so heavily an HP market and HP is very much in bed with 3M. Maybe increase the passes which will give the material more time in the curing zone which will...
We don't do 1160 on top of vinyl. Vinyl is not the proper material for reflective signs. We do put 1160 over EC film though. There is no need for 1170clear UV on top of cut EC colored films though because all the cut EC films are basically 1170 clear with color added. They are already UV...
