If you have to use 651 in a pinch or some other similar....Wipe it down with denatured alcohol to clean. I
I've printed on non-digital such as etch or diamond plate for special projects.
"Cutting from Flexi is not the issue". Then just cut from it.
I have an old version of Flexi on a computer with windows XP. I design in Corel then export the cut file as eps to a folder on my desktop.Open or import to Flex and send to the cut/plot manager and cut. i agree that cut master is...
I print PhotoTex with a 7700 and use a synthetic matte adhesive profile from Epson and have excellent results. The 7700 is a 5 color, CMY matte black, photo black printer. Walter sent me profiles and I used them with good results. Velvet Fine Art Paper worked well also.
I love the product.
I don't print from Flexi. I export out of corel x3 or x5 as an eps and have had no problems. I do this with or without a cut line. The gradient was smooth and the color accurate.
I convert the gradient to an RGB 150dpi and powerclip it into the vector. Send to printer as bob said in RGB color. This works very well when sending vectors and bitmaps together.
Did you try a lint free cloth on the cap station saturated with cleaning solvent?
Reviewing the K printhead it may just be clogged nozzles. The edge is off (clogged?) that made me think it could be misaligned.
Thanks but I use CoCut Pro and Corel. I have used Signlab in the past to cut and drive a CNC router. Signlab is second to none for production software.
