You could put aluminum tape over the seam to even the heat distribution. Same tape heating contractors use. It can be found at any hardware store.

You could have someone print marble it for you and then cut what you want. Or better yet have it printed/laminated and cut. You just install.

It's the pixels not the DPI that counts. Prints with good pixels in them print more than good at 150dpi full size with a print resolution at 720x720.

I heard a set of inks would print 3 rolls of 30"x150' material. However there are too many variables in the printing and the printer. I just keep an extra set of ink and cleaning cartridges on hand. I also set a cost of ink usage at $.50 per square foot if that is any help.
