I'm wondering the same thing as Chris. If the upgrade goes smoothly and you don't have to reinstall any software I'm going this route. I wasn't going to install W7 on any of our existing computers because I always thought clean installs and then reinstallation of all software was necessary.
I agree with zmat. I don't really think a person can "learn" artistic ability, either you have it or you don't. You learn to hone those skills, but you don't learn to be creative.
Yup, realtors will probably not go for any sort of lease arrangement. Sell them the sign, and like Billct2 said, they pay you to install, remove, store and change information as needed.
It's really hard to tell from that picture if that's an ink delivery issue or a profile issue. I've never been able to run anything at 360x540 if it makes you feel better. We do have a 360x1080 profile that gives good prints (well, good enough for yard signs and banners) and it's pretyt fast...
We use the 18oz double-sided material and have for years. Good stuff. Never tried any of their other weights though. Have you tried Ultraflexx 13oz? It's excellent.
It'll take it back if you put it back in, assuming it's printing right now. It won't let you do cleanings if it's down to 10% but it'll continue to print until it runs out. So put a new cart. in, clean, and then put the near-empty one back in until it runs out.
swap out the cyan for fresh, run a couple cleanings and you're good as new. If you know there's a usable amount of ink left in the old cyan cartridge, reinstall it after the cleaning cycles and then replace it with the "new" cartridge you already opened when it runs out. We do that all the time...
If you plan on putting 90 s.f. 20' in the air, on you property or not, you need to do yourself a favor and pay an engineer a couple hundred bucks to figure the footer and pole size for you. If you want to experiment, experiment the way you'd actually have to do the job if a customer were paying...
You actually technically are required to be UL listed, doesn't matter if you live in the middle of nowhere or if it's going on your property, FYI. And you really need an enginner to figure your footer properly/safely/to code. If you're not worried about an inspecor ever seeing or actually...
Have you tried a shorter/different firewire cable? In addition to going through 5 firewire cards, we had to try at least 3 or 4 cables before we found the right combination...
Aside from that, I'd suspect you have the wrong Mimaki Firewire Driver installed. We actualyl had to backdate ours a...
