Anyone have any experience with this? I am an operator by trade, not an installer by any means. These wraps would be going on my own amps, over the existing tolex. This is something ive had in mind for quite a while and would like to give it a shot on one or two of my practice amps. I have...
if you have a lindenmeyr monroe in your area, they should be stocking the matraplast. they have it in 25 sheet cases and full skids. you could maybe pick up a case and see if you have better luck with it. honestly, sometimes the cases come in better and less banged up than the skids.
busy and not busy. one of our online businesses is still keeping strong while our main site is steadying out. the usual ebb and flows for this time of year.
That was my next question haha. what brand are you using? i use matraplast, bought by the skid direct from the factory in Canada. do you have adhesion problems on any other substrate?
Nothing you can do about the broken core unfortunately. dealt with quite a few of those. send it back or re- core it if you are in a pinch. done it once or twice. obviously not ideal but it is do-able.
the longer the print, the more stretch on the second run you can expect. the smaller format latex's are good for about 20 feet in my experience. the 1500 we got recently is a tank on 2 sided though. ive done 30 to 50 feet at a time and had it be within a 1/4 inch. takes some work to get good at...
for oversized banners, we give customers the option of rolled or folded. with the upcharges everyone has for anything longer than 96", we offered it to customers as a way to not get hit with extra $ on shipping. 10x10 and above are pretty much always folded unless customer is down to clown with...
story of my lifeeee! not excited to come in for a few hours tomorrow morning. i know having alot of work is nothing to b**** about but damn dude, id like to have my holidays you know?
yeahh. had a customer work for weeks on a job in design and proofing process. finally approves last night. tells us he needs them in nyc friday morn. man people are the worst sometimes. 40+ boards. on the holiday. so pumped.
another dumb question, i do not know anything about this printer, but could the headstrike have possibly damaged the crash guard, making it think its still crashed? if this is stupid, sorry for asking.
of course! id say itll definitely be a huge help in speeding up your workflow, and with nazdar bringing out the inkset for that printer, you may be able to run it till you can get that dream machine!
id say the flatbed would definitely help you alot then, espcially since you are used to print/mount work flow. your quality may be reduced depending on what printer your using for the p/m, but with the indoor/indoor+/photo modes at roughly 7/9/12 minutes a sheet would most likely suffice. it...
i dont think there is a way to change that unfortunately. i used to try to run them down as low as we could but you do it too much, you could suck air into your lines which is never fun. The chips can also sometimes make that impossible. its a tricky game. as baz said, keep a full spare set on...
indeed it does. honestly though, once you get the tension right on a latex, its pretty much like just running vinyl. ive done full rolls on my 560 without a single headstrike or issue.
