My whole life, I've always used post hole diggers by hand with a digging bar. On occasion, we used some digging augers, but we have a job coming up which requires at least 48 - 3' holes dug over a 3 week period, so rental by the week is out and that's too many holes to dig by hand. I know I've...

Every state’s department of transportation uses those electronic highway signs to warn of “Lane Closure Ahead” or “Fines Doubled in Construction Zone.”
The problem is, some high-tech pranksters...

So, what's everyone having for lunch ?? This is from the best Italian Private club for miles around. Victor Emmanuels II. Added pepperoni to it, broiled it to perfection and have my little hots on the side.
Oh yeah, there were 4, now...

I'm building a shed on the back side of my property and I'm using old signs from around the shop for the walls and gates. All the wood is in excellent shape, but some are handpainted, some are vinyl and paint combo, while some are digitally printed vinyl with and without laminate. Right now...
I'm not sure if this is a 3M color or an old Gerber color, but it was a cast vinyl and it was called 'OYSTER'. The backer says Scotchcal 220. A very very light tan or beige, but I've tried two places and they say it's discontinued. Actually, they say it doesn't exist. Any ideas where to get...
Over the years, there's been lotsa talk about the ugliest type styles and whatnot and while some aren't all the keen, some of the fonts in the last year or so, having to be identified for various shop's customer needs, have all of 'em beat. People sure are trying to locate some u-glie fonts...
I think I pulled the most bone-headed blunder of the century..... both last and this century combined.
Had a 3' x 10' sign with cut-out letters on it in gatorboard. Finished it off at the end of the week and didn't have it installed yet, due to a misunderstanding. Anyway, Monday we were...
Start by saying, I didn't set this up as a poll, but maybe I should've :
In the last few years or so, many members post up work for critique, requests for information on obtaining equipment or supplies and many how do you do this or that threads.
How does anyone feel about answering...
A thread from a few months ago about a piece of Co-X which was a printed picture of a person, cut out and had an easel system put on it for standing alone. I liked the set up better than what we've used and I searched several topics, but can't seem to find it.
Anyone know where it might be...
With the sudden influx of new comers to the sign industry, these might help those with their questions, requests or dumb answers when dealing with a seasoned veteran. At the moment is is for the male side, but there's been rumors that it works for the females, too..... with little to no side...
Had a nice check coming and with some banking problems in our bank last week, things were held up for a time-being. Our bank went through a huge take-over/buy-out and it took a few extra days for things to show up. You could deposit, but things were not being credited for the next day as...
In the past few weeks, we've received some unsolicited advertisements in the form of cut out wide format printing decals. Two of them were from well-known places, while the others are large wholesaling places. The thing I find odd is twofold, in that they all came out within 3 weeks or so of...
Has anyone ever gotten anything from...
DIGIPRINT SUPPLIES
They're out of Brussels, Belgium, and it says they have an office/supply center here in the USofA, but they are almost impossible to talk to via phone or e-mail.
:thankyou: Gino
The snow has started in my area about 1/2 hour ago. We're supposed to get around 18". We'll see. Going home in a few minutes and gonna honker down. House generator is all up to snuff, both snow blowers are in tip top shape..... so, bring it on. See ya Monday........ hopefully.

Why if I use a few upper case letters in a row here, the forum automatically drops it all to lower case ?? I see others doing it, so it must be possible. Perhaps I have something clicked on or off preventing this from happening.
