How many of ya don't do everything in-house ??
Well, I needed something fabricated by another vendor and I gave them the specs, drawings and everything else needed in getting me a price, so I could finish the quote for our customer. I did this on the 19th of December. I sent out another...
So for those of you who celebrate..... a very Merry Christmas.
For the rest of you who don't............ Happy Solstice, Festivous for the Rest of Us, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Happy Yule.
So here goes.
I've been hearing a lotta complaints about not enough sign layout or designs being posted lately, so I thought I'd post up some we've done recently which is in conjunction with our 'Summer End Sale'.
We run this special usually at the end of summer, to stimulate some business...
We are just getting bombarded with e-mails from the Atlantic City sign show, lately. Everyone is thanking us for stopping by their booth and how happy they are we showed interest in their products. They wanna set up times to meet with us and discuss our needs with them.
Odd thing is, it's...
A sign for a long-established New Mexico Dry Cleaners :
38 Years on the Same Spot.
Another one from a Santa Fe gas station :
We will sell gasoline to anyone in a glass container.
Last..... On a sign along the Tennessee highway :
When this sign is under water, this road is impassable.
To one and all... and your families.....................
Also, thanks to all the service people past, present and future and all the other Police, Fire Fighters and others who put their lives on the line for us everyday.
:wavingflag:
:thankyou:
.................. appearance, layout.... whatever ??
Both my tablet and shop computers are sporting a new layout for the s101 threads. Not saying I don't like it, but not near as much fits onto a single page as before. Seems to take up a lotta real estate.
Has that got anything to do with...
........ use a logo if it appears on-line and says you may use it for basically anything, besides 'Fair Use' ??
We have a customer who wants several logos on their sign and when the companies with nationwide name recognition were contacted, they just said download them from this site.... it...
Heeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy............................... I've finally figured it out.
People are asking font questions, how to do this simple thing and that simple thing, to get their 'Post Count' up. :pops_blinking:
I just noticed this, this morning. I see how it works, but am I missing something as to what it really does ?? Like a hidden meaning or is it something you just turned on when updating things ??
I've looked through all my fonts and tried some font-finders, but not having any luck.
They are changing things around and if I can't get it, I must find something close, so it's not imperative I get it, but I'd like to.
:thankyou: Gino
There's another thread going about venting and annoying situations. How 'bout we have some fun & laughs and jot down some of our funniest moments, whether it be customers, distributors, questions or just about anything in general.
Here's one I got in an e-mail just a few minutes ago...... and...
For years, I've seen threads about what estimate software to use and what makes this one good or better than another and I guess I'm old fashioned, but I don't get it.
Are these people asking or looking for a program that figures out everything for you by plugging in..... you want a 48" x 120"...
We have another sign shop wanting us to do some work for them. They said, they've done quite a few of these and everyone else puts the vinyl on the window seams. We never put it on the black rubbery/plastic part, as it usually doesn't hold very long.
Opinions or input either way would be...
If anyone can identify this bouncy fun font, it would be greatly appreciated. We tried some places and they all come up..... not quite right. The customer has no idea what font they used and are asking us to put some sign layouts together using this font.
:thankyou: Gino
Mccullough Manufacturing, Co.
They were located in Lancaster, Pa and have turned their business over to another company. Does anyone know how to reach the new company by phone or e-mail ??
Mccullough was a banner supply & finishing house and served the area well for many years.
Any help...
