This question may be sacreligious to some, but it's still a question to me... and the reason I'm asking here will become plain in a moment.
I have about 23 unopened original 792 ink cartridges, and about 8 partly used ones, 3/4 full.
I had stocked up on them three to four years ago when I...
Thanks for the reply - it's weird though - you'd think that for simplicity, and considering the machines are the same printing width, that they'd stick with the one style/size...
Hi
I have spare parts for our 260 - including 22 ink cartridges, 10 or so heads, 2 head cleaning cartridges etc
but also a spare belt, encoder strip, and sensor with it.
Someone locally is interested in the belt and encoder-I'm wondering if they'd be compatoible with our L360, and worth...
I've done the belts on the 25500, and the 260 - and never took the top off only the 2 ends of the L260, and I think only the console end of the 25500.
Just be exceedingly careful to not dent or kink the encoder strip - not break the encoder strip ends which are under a lot of tension, as is the...
Bu default, Com1 serial is setup in Corel.
You need to go into Corel Finecut menu near the plotter blade icons, and find the setup menu. Tell it USB. (not com1)
For those who wondered... same issue... it took a day of tearing my hair out, install, uninatall, repeat...and trying alternate USB leads...
The instructions are pretty poor, but you need the Mimaki driver (eg v 4.8 which might be 25 meg or 45 meg), and the other little driver file that's v1.6...
Sometimes reinstalling Finecut helps - it finds Corel on the 2nd try, after you click 'yes' to the "find corel toolbar'
But you do have to have the right version of FC for the version of Corel and for the version of Windows you're using.
Sounds like it can't sense its own head carriage movement - like there's an issue with the encoder reader.
Maybe you put it (the strip) back incorrectly fed through the carriage. (I hope you didn;t kink the encoder strip.)
Here's a long time, late reply - but the other thing I found when mine would not render Post script/PDFs, only JPGs, was to regenerate the PDF, to be compatible with acrobat version 5 or 6, and not 9 or newer.
Suddenly PDFs ripped and previewed just fine again.
As well as setting Jaws to be the...
Just ungroup everything first, if you want them nested properly.
Otherwise it treats what you've grouped as 'set in stone' and won't pull them apart.
The bounding box is the plate size they have to be fitted to.
(I use the Corel version- a great set of plugins)
Oh well... I still have a very old version of ER that works just fine for all our needs, 2D to 3D.
But the upgrade price is obnoxious, and I have no internet in the workshop, (on purpose),and I detest subscription versions.
A video might sound useful, but the L26500 is a bit obsolete these days - few people are nurturing them along like me...
I still have 20 ink cartridges to use up!
There are only about 7 screws each end, to undo - but you'll have to find them!
2 will be sort of inside facing out.
And the first...
The service manual is pretty good.
I only take off the right end, BUT... be darned careful with the encoder strip or you'll either dent it or wreck the ends where it screws to the bracket.
So, if you're uncertain, then remove both ends of the printer, and slowly loosen tension on everything -...
