Yes this sounds like it would work to me. This is how I handle my white files right now with white and clear. I'm also waiting for Onyx to sort things out on the 330 but if you still can't run the 300 that doesn't give me a lot of hope for seeing the 330 running through Onyx.

Nope. The 330 is not supported yet as far as I can tell and there are a lot of bugs with Onyx 24 with cutting it seems right now. I've been using Rasterlink and I haven't seen any place to do anything like that but I also haven't done any banners.

I've checked those. Definitely no build-up on them. I clean my lamp glass weekly and haven't even gone through a whole set of ink yet after my install. (I have yet to change the clear and the black bottles.)

Yeah feel like I'm going to have to try some different setting and see the results. Tech was here yesterday and he said it could be it's not curing enough and if that happens the ink can pool up in certain areas.

I'm going to try this later. I had this issue escalated to engineering when I called about 3 weeks ago on this and haven't heard anything back on it.

No. The machine just needs the main power to be left on standby. Don't fully power the machine off and it will clean periodically on it's own. No need for vinyl to be in it for the auto cleaning.

Can you manually cut that on a flatbed by just registering the marks, instead of throwing the whole roll out? It won't be automated but would save you from reprinting.

Mine only notifies me about once a month to do a head cleaning. It should be doing an automated cleaning every so often, not sure of the time cycle on that though.

These ELUAs are getting out of hand. They are using this is a very devious manner and this absolutely needs to stop. I don't have hope that the government will do anything about it though.

Yeah I tried printing on UV but it's not nearly as transparent as solvent inks. It may be a last resort if I need to. I had previously don't gold stickers for them a couple of years ago but I can't get that same material anymore.

Been looking for some thicker holographic or metallic gold vinyl 4mils or thicker. No sign vinyl as I need it for stickers. I want to run them on my UV printer and not laminate them so ideally something 6mils would be perfect, but I can really only find a regular holographic in 6mils.
