Im running a Roland XR640 print cut, never have cut on the roland. I print a whole 100' roll then cut it on a Graphtec 160 while im printing the next 100' roll. Consumables are much cheaper for the Graphtec than for the Roland.

Graphtec is almost Bullit Proof

Its probably the non opp side (far left side of the control panel) Pay attention when taking apart. Palce a towel under where you take screws out. There are little shim collars that fall out to nowhere land.

I have fixed two of them by super glueing the tabs back into place. (See broken tabs circled in photo attached) If the tabs are completely broken off you need to buy a new one, but dont throw the broken one away as I am working on a prototype to fix them. Ill post pictures soon to this thread...

Hey Pauly, I guess you can do this on a Arizona. If I can do it on a Seiko and a Roland and Mimi9271 is doing it on his Arizona 1260 then I guess your Thumbs Down was a little premature. When a chalenge comes along I go back to basics and think Outside the box. I never say It can't be done.

You only need the slighest pressure to cut. When you use too much pressure (too deep) the blade is binding through the cut and wears out the cutting tip surface of the blade and then it wont track accuratly. Does that make sense? After Market Blades Are Junk!

No it will not change, If it's an inner cut and dimensions do not change (spacing, size) are the same as the original when your done adding the cut line.

Our local city sanitation department does a free drop off once a year of hazardous waste. So we bring them 10 to 15 gallons of waste ink. But I like the kitty litter idea.

So it was a Static problem just like all of you said. To correct it I added a foot of Static Tincil from my offset press and adjusting the peel rate then I Thinned the ink. Everything printed great all day. Thank You For All Your Suggestions They All Helped.

Looks like emulsion is good. The splatter is not the same on every sheet.
