I've used Broom handles, 2x4's, plywood strips, cardboard boxes and branches from trees wraped in a beach towel to do installs in the field. You can make anything into a squeegee. Use the tools you have and if you forget your tools at the shop thats an hour away, make a tool to get the job done.

Print heads are garbage. Happened to me, I replaced in my xr640 and within two days I was getting banding. Got another set of new heads and printing great.

Ebay has great deals too. I bought a Graftec 160, 60" cutter and it still had a year left of warranty on it. Warranty ran out but the cutter is still cutting all day every day 16 months later, its bullet proof.
