I'm sure this has been beat like a dead horse, but has there been any advancement in raster to vector conversion software?
Last decent piece of software I remember is Vector Magic. Is this still the best option out there?
I find some of my customers need vector files but they have had them...
Hmm it's all one piece and contour cut. Almost a rectangle shape so maybe they'll be fine just like your saying. I just want to make sure they have a good experience with it and not frustrations.
I think I follow you on that. I'm going to be mailing this so I don't think I'll be able to add any rolled tape to the back, but I can definitely give them that as as suggestion when they want to install it.
Just trying to make it as easy for them as possible to apply this on their own.
I have a customer asking for a large wall print. 48" x 40". I'm not printing it as I don't do many large wall graphics and don't keep low tack material on hand. However They'll likely want application tape applied to the front for installation, which I'm not doing. Can I just use the 12"...
I don't, mainly stickers. Shouldn't be a problem. If you're looking for image quality, the Epson will treat you just fine. If you have a high volume you may want to look into the S80. It'll also give you wider color gamut for prints as it has some extra colors to help with that.
I've had my S40 for about 4 years now and it's been absolutely great. Maintenance has been pretty low, only just recently did I have my first service on it.
All depends, if they are taking scrap material for their own use and try to sell it as competition to your business, I'd say you need to have a talk with them.
Most likely yes, some models have soldered on ram and a free slot some are all use replaceable. You can check the support online for it and it might show you exactly how and where to do it on your laptop.
I've got a Lenovo P50, which I'm upgrading so I've been looking around and there are some...
Exactly. I've seen horrible offgassing in offset printing before when testing out a new media or ink combination. Same goes for solvent/eco solvent. I'd never do less than the recommended time, unless it's ultra short-term and customer is aware of what might happen. I give myself the time to let...
Yeah wondering this as well.
Are you running from a roll of laminate or a cut sheet?
To me it looks like you're too loose by the way it's not tight to the upper roller.
Just a different sensor and updated ARMS for sensing marks. Might have to adjust the sensor level for that material.
You said you got this from someone else so maybe do a reset to factory defaults to make sure you're starting from a base if you can't get any adjustments to work.
I think it honestly depends on quantity you're. I bought a roll label printer with rewinder and roll slitter over a year ago and still have yet to run a single job on it. (most of my work is short run few hundred to 1000) and most are all different shapes and sizes. To give you an idea I paid...
Is the setup for data merge in Illustrator similar to InDesign? I never really used it much in the native Adobe apps as we had a varaible data standalone program to handle tens of thousands of records.
Wondering if anyone has done any variable data printing on their wide format machine and if so did you find it helpful?
I do a lot of short run vinyl stickers for products and I've got a couple of customers who have a common label but only change one piece of it. Figured it would be perfect for...
I've been using the Substance 3755 for unlaminated items I might do on occasion. If not I will use a 6mil GF gloss or matte if the 3755 is too thin for someone.
