Do you have Photostop?? Its got an option for producing proof pages, have to print them after it runs, but it'll put as many on a page as you want.

Man that sucks. We ran a JV3 as well and for the reliability we had with it, and the opinions you gave me last year, the Epson was definitely out of the running when we purchased our new printer. Know that every printer has its issues but these Epsons seem to have more then others.

That's how we do our backlit signs. Tried for too long to get the front side only thing with our JV3 before I saw the light and just started doing two prints.

Don't know why it wouldn't print, but I would be on the phone with your supplier or HP. Our initial yellow cart wouldn't work at all when our printer was setup last year. One of the reasons I don't like cartridges.

So during the installation, when it asks to overwrite the previous installation, will selecting no to keep our settings still install the update?

Replaced our eight year old JV3 there months ago or so. Still on, do weekly cleanings and test prints, thinking about letting it go now that I am comfortable with our L25500.

Our old Colorspan Displaymaker was that way, had a 386 or earlier cpu if I had to guess. Cheaper to take something off the shelf then designing from scratch. And thanks for the link, never hurts to have the service manual.

Best part about it for HP, they take a competitors machine out without having to actually dispose of the whole printer.
