    In the user menu, run Env. match and the cutting adjustments. If there is still an issue, you might need to remove the encoder strip to really clean it, or replace it, depending upon its condition.

    Try removing the hoses and clean them out. You can squeegee out the old ink with an unopened soda can. Flush the hoses with acetone to remove any residual ink, reinstall and see if that does the trick.

    Once you have cleaned the encoder strip, redo the Initialize the limit, both encoder calibrations and both cut alignments and see if that fixes the issue.

    What happens if you power up the printer with the network cable plugged into a different computer? The other computer doesn't need to have Versaworks. Just want to eliminate the computer as the cause of the power up issue first.
