I've got it calibrated and can do regular contour cuts. I'm really having a hard time with FlexCut though. I do stickers cut to shape all the way through the media. The contour cut works fine, but when it does the FlexCut it jumps all around the design and I cannot figure out how to fix that...

It's for a safety seal kind of thing and the design is setup for the perforated part. Only doing it because it's really low quantity stuff like 300 or so per run.

I do small quantity labels for jars and such. Some people request perforated labels that can be torn when the jar opens. I did some with my normal vinyl (3.4mil) and overlam (3mil) and it's rather thick, but I feel like the vinyl itself is a bit thin. Any recommendations on materials or...

Settled on an Epson S40600 and Summa D140 cutter to pair with it. I didn't find any real user experiences with the SG2 and honestly I'd still have the same bottleneck as I'd only be able to cut or print on the Roland. I love my SP540V but I've put a lot of miles on it in the short time I've had...

Yeah I had that thought but many that would be a process because they want it on white. Possibly but they do want it gold on white which would be difficult for my setup otherwise it would have to be done with UV is my guess.

For myself. I don't have the capabilities and don't know anyone that does near me.

Never heard of a feed encoder. Do you mean the crop mark sensor under the cutting head?

Don't think I've tried that one yet. I think I did put the marks on it but it you do the Print and Cut (selection in the settings) it doesn't read the marks it just goes straight to cutting. So I'd have to roll the material back and set the base point to have it read I believe. I'll give it a go.
