Yeah this is for packaging products so I'm guessing it's be a better option even if it's a little bit more money.
I wish I could do small perforations for packaging on this but it's just not possible and I need to find an option that will make it easier and paper seems to be the way to go.
So it's been pretty cold and the lamination machine was by a window. I think the combination of cool temps and low humidity really don't help.
I warmed up the laminated material a little bit and after about 20mins they went away.
I posted this in another thread because I'm under the gun with this.
This is driving me nuts. I didn't have this issue until recently and it's showing up in everything. You can see the smaller bubbles (silvering?) I've increased tension on the supply roll, it's a cold lam so I can't put heat to...

What can I do? I'm tired of throwing away materials.
Yeah I'm getting to that point of throwing out as much bad as good on some things and just all the extra time spent reprinting or trying to make adjustments is driving me nuts. Noting wrong with looking for a good used or refurbished machine.
Thanks! I'll do some research.
It may but it might be slight that I can't notice, you can tell on these small border of a circle though.
It may be a little bit of that. I actually went into the service mode and adjusted the print and cut setting and they were off a bit. I got it tightened up a little bit more.
This has probably been beaten to death but I'm having alignment issues on my print and cut. As you can see in the image it's off slightly and the circle is 1.5" round. I've gone through numerous calibrations and it still comes out the same. I'm tired of throwing material away for bad cutting...
Gah it always is the most silly things that cause the issues. I went to my roll and noticed one flange wasn't tight on the roll. it's broken and was leaning. That's probably what is causing that. Thanks!
So I'm getting this blurred area every so often on my prints. I can't seem to figure out what might be causing it. I cleaned my encoder strip and calibrated it and I'm still getting this. I think I'm going to calibrate the feed settings, not sure if thats it.
I've been doing nothing but perf cuts. Obviously the pressure settings will depend on material used. When I do them I do a contour cut on top of my perf cut just makes it a little cleaner cut. I have struggled with what perf length and cut lengths to use on certain size cuts. I definitely use a...
I'm really looking for a little more affordable material I can use with Eco Solvent. I haven't found anything yet. The website stickerapp.com prints on holographic/metallic, to the edge, which isn't possible with the Rtape using solvent based.
I might just have to tell people to go elsewhere...
Looks like some deflections in the cyan but the others look good. The 3rd image is your bi-directional adjustments, looks like you need to make those adjustments. Also check your heat settings for printing you might need to lower it.
I'm having some issues with the print getting "fuzzy" in random spots on the roll. I cleaned the encoder strip because I was having trouble printing all the way across the machine. Thats fixed, but the fuzzy printing is still there. I'm on a SP-540V
Any ideas?
