and most of the time when you get the inks they're 6 months away from expiring, pretty short life. Not a problem if the printer is busy but full tanks of ink go a long way. 3 rolls of vinyl per week you'll need to waste some ink to keep it from expiring
Yes they just also come with the old style springs. Just dont use the springs with newer blade holder style. Some aftermarket blade holders use the springs

that's exactly what I do.
I just found you can skip the photoshop step and do in illustrator by going to edit - adjust colors and do the blackout right in illustrator that way.
Now that I've done a few thousand of these I pretty much do it automatically without thinking.
I think the downsides of banner is high winds/rain could come through and tear it off it the 1-2 weeks or more it could take before video is made. After the shoot would have to remove otherwise Id imagine water will get trapped under the banner.

What's every ones favorite tool/squeegee for 50"+ wide panels going on a floor (roof). I have a 27" yellow tool timber and just ordered a 64" for this job
It's a pretty simple design, pink and white. Maybe could be done with paint.
I did a smaller scale test print for them out of the 6 mil vinyl and they like it. Just trying to see what I might be missing before I go on a roof when it's 100 degrees outside

I use a flatbed daily to apply transfer tape, apply prints to substrates, short pieces of lamination etc. You would not want to be laminating anything longer than the bed on a flatbed. It is a great tool to have but it is not a replacement for laminating full rolls/long prints.
