A1? I had to look it up, less than 2'x3', over here that would either be a flatbed print, cheapest or digital print vinyl on coro still cheap.
Definitely talk to the printer
How big are these? I'm wondering why they were expensive and if they really were screenprinted, usually screen printing is reserved for a large run not 4 pieces.
And you are in Ireland, did it not occur to the vendor that it was an Irish flag, not Italian?
Commercial greenhouse handle this problem like Andy said Wildwest said, with fabric covering on the outside. Anything on the inside won't keep the heat out unless they make a permanent change to the panels and they don't want to do that.
When we make a commitment to a deadline we do very thing in our power to keep it...other than that our schedule is fluid, adjusting as needed.
We have a lot of repeat customers and they get taken care of.
If you are talking about one piece you need to have a minimum unless it can wait to be done with other stuff.
I hate little jobs like that, even with a minimum they are loser. You take the order anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes (if you're lucky),

as has been said the only signs that come close to that are Expen$ive. The subsurface fiberglass signs used at parks & zoos are one example and even they only have like a 10 year warranty. For the average customer a factory finished panel like dibond with cut cast vinyl graphics is going to...
I would try a place like this. They have helped me out with custom color rattle can paints. They may be able to a transparent paint. https://www.myperfectcolor.com/About-us/5.htm
How big are they? I agree with spraying a tinted clear (sample first of course). If they're small finding a rattle can with the right look would be great. Bigger will require spraying. You can set up a temp "booth".
I haven't noticed any great differences when using it for flat panels. Those who bend it do, the cheaper grades crack and split.
I know I worry about the manufacturer changing things without any real notice. The aluminum faced plywood was sold as a replacement for painted MDO
and at first it was...
