Yep, that's what we did and got a black line through it. I did notice that the line will appear only at a certain zoom level. I think I'm gonna try and nudge that one piece about .01 inch then rasterize it all.

Might check the pinch roller too. Sometimes they get caked up with grit and such that allow for slippage.

This can happen on long runs and/or with heavy materials such as laminated reflective. We try to keep it to 10ft max. Make sure pinch rollers are at max (strongest pinch) Yes, we use a bleed on all to compensate where possibly.

Try opening the pdf in illustrator and save out again as pdf. Then try flexi on that file. If things still get "scattered" you can always open in photoshop and save as a flattened tif. Only drawback is having to do one page at a time.

Which do you have Acrobat Pro or just Reader? Do you have Photoshop or Illustrator?

Doesn't Acrobat have an option to "save as" or "export"? That may be Acrobat Pro not "Acrobat Reader" though

My thoughts exactly, I'm in Florida and just about every "glass" has a tint film to it. I've never used anything to "scrape" the surface. If residue is left from any removed vinyl we'll clean it with rapid remover and follow up with a different rag and clean with alcohol.

silly question but have you cleared out temp files?

Sometimes on surfaces such as this you can try and "heat treat" it before applying paint and/or vinyl. Forget "Plasti-Dip" it's bad on anything. Blow torch the surface ever so carefully without burning it. Clean really good with 70% alcohol then apply vinyl. Good luck.
