I find it easier to make my own tiles within the design. That way the RIP station isn't tied up and my print tech is much happier. I drop the tiles into a hot folder from my pc and all he has to do is print.

Same here. If it's some kind of simple stripe package we tell them they're better off ordering from a company that sell the stripes by the thousands and they will get them a lot cheaper than us. They have them sitting on the shelf from known templates etc. We're not the cheapest in town but...

Ha, it's not gonna matter what we all think. The customer will trash the whole thing and you'll end up with a but ugly sign. Otherwise I like the white one to start with but not gold text. Depending on how the "black" is made. The sun will cook that puppy and possibly warp the substrate.

Have you tried placing the file? If you have Corel you could try importing it.

The color your're referring to is Pantone 7623 CP

I've never heard of that code for a Pantone. Usually something like 467 C, 467 CP, 467 U, etc

Good idea to invert your panels i.e. print first one right side up then rotate the next print 180deg.
