Don't know about FX but on Edge 2 that was often a communication error. Disconnecting the cable and then reconnect and make sure all other connections are good often fixed it.

yep, if the vinyl was on there a while it's a good ghost. I'll try buffing with polish compound, but it's risky, especially on dark colors. You end up needing to do the whole door, then the fender looks noticeably duller....
