try Typemite Oblique and then you will have to convert to paths in illustrator and shear it for reverse tilt in illustrator. You may also have to modify letters, but we do it in illustrator over the picture. I can do it but we charge
I always try to steer clients away from magnets. If they insist, I tell them that they need to remove and clean them and the surface weekly and when I give them over, I put detail wax on the back of the magnet and the vehicle and tell them that they should detail wax the magnet and vehicle...
Good on you Jen,
I am a sign and graphics shop doing many things, but I have a client who is a painter by trade and does a ton of Harley Davidsons. For years, I have made stencils for him that he airbrushes in with effects. He really likes Avery Paint Mask. I believe it is SF-100. I have...
It sounds like you do not yet have a good grasp on what area of the sign business you are looking to get into. Given the equipment that you have, you could go in many of these ares...

I would design with areas to put stainless steel face screws. Mount a smaller 3/4"PVC panel behind and attach French Cletes to the 3/4PVC. You can sell it as a floating sign panel
I can check my dongle. I had 12 and had to buy new 21 rip station to be on same version with my second printer. Now 22 is out and upgrading again in July. Thrive is$3600 to run both printers from a single rip and if you want upgrades you can buy the maintenance plan for around 1200 per...
I am not trying to discourage you, but I have been in the Printing and Graphic Arts fields for 29 years and have had my own sign & graphics business for 10 years. You will need guidance and consultants can get expensive. I know as I routinely consult with small printing companies and graphics...
Hello,
Last August, I bought a second hand CNC machine (small 30”x48”) And I have been making a few signs here and there. After learning the process and the software and doing a bunch of jobs for Existing customers and friends I have become very comfortable with the process but not so...
I work with several agencies and we frequently have to match color. I have found it helpful to print PMS Swatches on my most popular materials for them. With that we have a good understanding of what we need. I have also taken the time to adjust a couple of mixes in versaworks to match...
The Lesson that I learned
A couple years ago, I spent about 4 or 5 hours designing a wrap for a local restaurant after meeting with them for an hour and talking to them for a half hour before that. I never got the wrap job and I supposed that it was just another loss. Last year, I was in...
I drink tea in the morning.... specifically either King Cole tea which is an Orange Pekoe tea from Canada, or Sarabeth's Pure Ceylon Tea, but in the afternoon and night, I have Kona Coffee fine ground and made to a 16oz cup with 3 splenda and Almond milk. Yep... it's got a kick.
In my opinion, you should work on the first one... Bring the blades of grass out to create the S otherwise they become distracting.
In my opinion...
Remember that opinions are like rear ends, everyone has one and they all stink at times.
Nice Job
Looks good I wish that the first wrap that I did myself was such a smooth surface.... If I recall, I had 800 rivets and a rivet brush. The next time I bought a rollepro.
I do a ton of work for a pretty famous sailboat maker here and one of their logos tapers down from a quarter inch to a thread. I do it with Oracal 651 and have no issues. Since we do on average of 250 per run, I have designed the file to have strategically placed cut lines for easier weeding...
Premier Graphics is trademarked..... google. the options, look for domain names and if you want to trademark, PM me and I will give you a connection to a very good friend of mine who specializes in TM and branding and also one of my top 5 clients.
I use a local fence company, who has 4x4 pvc posts and caps and they will slide over top of a pressure treated 4x4. They look pretty good and are sturdy. Any fence company will have them.
Sorry, I thought that this was your message. I was typing and responding while I was watching a file rip and guess that I was paying more attention to Versaworks than the message.

Hey,
Very inspiring designs... I did a bunch of ads for a client that used a retro character similar to the one that you used on Town & Country and it has inspired me to use a similar type guy on a project that I am working on for a cleaning company. Love your use of Typography.
