Hey All,
We've been trying a few different brands of optically clear lam the last year or so. Avery, Oracal and other brands. No matter what we do they lam is really hazy. Not what you'd think optically clear should be.
Various sales people have told us it will go away, but I'm not so...
Hey All,
I just bought a new RIP computer and am upgrading to Onyx Postershop 10 (I know we're super late to the party) I was told I'd get the ONYX 11 update that comes out in October for free. Can't complain about that!
I tried googling it to read up on the new features, but nothing came up...
Hi All,
I have been given the task of design my friend a logo for a business he has bought. The business is in a rural town where the previous business owner basically ran the business into the ground. Now that they are under new ownership they want a new look.
The logo they had before was...
Hi All,
I have a customer who owns a martial arts gym. He has requested to have his logo applied to his punching bags.
Has anyone done a similar application? What material would work here? Vinyl wouldn't stand up to punishment would it? Maybe an ink would be better? If so, what kind? Is ink...
Hi All,
I'm just wondering where to get some of the lubricant oil that comes with the maintenance kits for the HP latex machines.
It says DB2-68 Lubricant oil on the front. Our supplier makes us buy the whole kit for $160 when all we need is the oil.
Thanks!
Hi All,
I need to find someone who can make large 3 dimensional Tooth about 4 ft tall by 3ft wide & deep.
It will sit outside a dentist office in a mall. It needs to be fairly lightweight so that it can be brought in and out of the office daily.
Any idea who I need to contact?
Thank you,
Aaron
Hi All,
Just want to start by saying I've done some searching and didn't find any answers.
So, my question is regarding printed vinyl for long-term outdoor applications. Our supplier told us to use 3M IJ180 for this purpose. To me, that seems like overkill. I thought it was only really used...
Hey All, I've been working on this in between real work to give these guys an nicer look. Right now their logo is just a serif font. I'd like to get them something nicer but I need your help.
Their colours are gold-ish yellow and burgundy, so I tried to use those colours here.
So what's...
Hey All,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a good chalkboard material that will last outdoors. Also, where to get it in Canada? Need about 54"x24" for a sign.
Thank you!
Hey All, Just wondering if anyone is printing 18oz banner on your L25500 or even 26500's?
We've been printing on Ultraflex for a few years without issue, but lately we've had nothing but problems. The "Wave" pattern has been haunting us on every roll.
I'm trying some Duratex 18oz as I type...
Hey All, So I've been doing foamcore prints for a wedding photographer the last few months. Recently I've been having issues with his files.
The issue is a posterization (photoshop effect in the image adjustment settings) look on skin tones but only on certain files. Mainly the shadow skin...
I don't recall ever doing this, but there is literally no literature on Molson Stock Ale. I need to find the font asap. I decided to set my pride aside. ha Thank you!
If you haven't heard The building Watson Engraving and Signage was attached too burned down last night, taking their shop out as well.
Even though I don't know you personally. I know you are an avid S101'er. (My boss does actually know you though) Our thoughts are with you. I hope you can get...
Hey All, I am in the process of building a website for our shop. In the initial discussion with my boss he mentioned having a quote page.
What are your thoughts on the matter? Do legit customers use this feature in your experience? Would you suggest I skip the quote page or include it?
Hey all,
Today's vehicles have so much style to them that I find simple graphic jobs can sometimes be a challenge. They have very prominent lines and shapes to them unlike the cars from the 90's and early 2000's. Take the new Ford Fiesta for example (attached below). Look at those lines. They...
