Is there a period of time that needs to be waited to apply vinyl to a sheet of powder coated steel? I have a customer that had a sheet of steel powder coated, and asked me to apply vinyl to it. I just want to make sure if it needs to breathe before I apply vinyl to it. This will be an outdoor...
I have not tried that. The blade sits well in the holder, and I can not shake it out, but it's worth a try. Thank you

Yes, I did make sure the ring was under the locking tab. I am beginning to suspect it is not going to be a common issue

I have a 3 month old mimaki cutter and all of a sudden it takes almost twice the amount of pressure to cut my material properly. What used to take 30-35 pressure setting now needs 50-60. I have installed two different new blades, and the problem has not changed. Everything else on the machine...
I'm using FDC intermediate calandered vinyl. I cleaned it just with a dry rag. Applied dry. I don't think I can get away with edge covers on this job. They are sticking better over time. I could clean it with rapid prep, next time. I will try to heat it and see if i get a better adhesion...
I've got some vinyl I'm applying to pvc sheet, But the edges always seem to not stick well. What is the best way to keep the edges and corners tight to the pvc? I am trimming the vinyl and pvc to size together.
Thanks

The information I am trying to get is not in the manual. I appreciate the attempt, but this is not the information I am looking for. I need the measurements of the printer head without the stand
Is there someone out there that can measure the dimensions of a jv150-130 components? I am considering purchasing one and I am trying to figure out if I can maneuver it Into the room. I need to know the measurements of the main part of the printer off the stand.
Thanks in advance!
i use the regular thermoflex plus all the time, and the backing is pretty sticky, but it makes it easier to weed in my opinion other than your arm constantly getting stuck to the backing. i thought the ez weed was supposed to not be sticky so you could stack weeded transfers. maybe i mis-read...
great thanks a lot maniac! i knew someone out there had to have one. the time to create something that complex is way more valuable than the $7.50 they charge. or even what ever vector doctor would charge. i have very little time in my days to convert images to vectors.
thanks everyone.
a friend of mine that is a park ranger wants me to make him a few shirts and other items with the park ranger badge on them. does anyone here know where i can find one? i have been over google a few times nothing seemed like it would work for me just wondering before i have the vector doctor...
when i upgraded from 12 to x5 i never removed 12, you can run both versions if you wanted to (not really a reason to) i dont know if it looked at the 12 install when i did it, or not but i would imagine if you have your 12 cd key you dont need to have it on there for the install. or just...
are you using versa works?
when i do that, i just make sure i have the crop marks option selected on the mark options page, set it to print only. then rip and print the job. then i load the job back in after laminating, and get the alignment dot with the dash so that is about straight over...
good call jill. thanks. i kinda left the dash out on purpose, but i might add it back in. the little bolt under datablitz kinda ties my two designs together.
