  2. Laminator For Mounting Prints

I agree with the Daige....Not because I sell them, I sell other brands...but In my own shop, I use a daige. I tell people all the time it is the most cost efficient simple cold laminator out there. Instead of setting it up as a laminator, I hinge the laminate to the print, then I can immediately...

  5. Mutoh 1204 banding and white spots

Got to go - If it were a larger machine I would suggest doing a total alignment to see if it is a slant issue. But the 1204 is hard mounted. Has there been damage? Otherwise I cant imaging this being the problem. Banding is usually a feed issue if your nozzles are all firing. Clean that PF...

  9. New printer band wagon

The wave pattern is found in a lot of machines now to hide imperfections..Banding is adjusted with the print feed based on the thickness of the material you are using. 10. Mutoh ValueCut 1800

Now my curiosity is getting me searching. There is another forum that was talking about this with a US Cutter.... It seems that there was a way to print and cut without a plugin. I am sure with a little more research you could find a way. FYI...the VC-1800 will also work with GCC Jaguar drivers...
  11. Mutoh ValueCut 1800

Depending on what version of Corel... I've never actually used CoCut, but It had issues with Corel x6...no idea if its better with 7. But it sounds like the best solution if you want to design in Corel and lose Flexi. Otherwise, design in Flexi and use Photoshop or Corel for certain jobs that...
  12. New printer band wagon

Yes, a friend of mine bought one of our old take op reels off of a trade in and used it on the back of his laminator stand. Then you can take your print off the front of the printer and let it feed through the laminator and winds as it comes out. Then it is reversed so you can put it on the back...

  17. Bringing a head back to life

Heads a touchy to 'fix' Too much psi and your blow it. On some printers if you try to run a bad head it can damage a board, pop a fuse... I would just keep the lines from drying and wait for the new head.

  19. Potential Problem with Magnetics

Mags I had this issue with metallic colored vehicles... I thought it was reacting with the metallic particles in the paint. It was after the customer left them on a year.. But then it buffed out, We think it was a dulling of the wax or clearcoat caused by the vibration of the vehicle and the...
