We put magnet through the plotter all the time. We use Magnum Magnetics MuscleMag AND DigiMag. You just need to make sure you don't put in large sheets so that the plotter keeps it on track. The material can be heavy if it's too large. I recommend not going longer than 48".
Hello,
Anyone have any tips for cleaning the belt on a HP 550 UV Flatbed Printer?
We've tried denatured alcohol, the UV cleaner and tape but not having luck with old cured ink and it's becoming a problem.
Let me know. Thanks!
Has anyone ever done any acoustic panels to help with echoing sound in rooms?
Please let me know what you suggest.
Hoping we can print on canvas or some material that we can put on top of foam to make the acoustic panels look like art in the room.

It will be a 17"H x 50"W panel with the client's logo in color.
They want to be able to have it last a long time and only be pressure-washed when needed. It also needs to stay simple to...

Aslan has etched and ice look material that you can print on, and has air-release. We've used it several times and works great.
3M also has their fasara series window films which are nice, a little pricier, but many pattern options.
We recently did some graphics on gym pads at a high school nearby. Instead of applying vinyl, we actually replaced the four center pads with new printed ones. (was good since there were tears in the old pads anyway) They ran about the same cost it would've cost us to print, laminate and...
Thank you everyone for your feedback....
This is just the initial design concept and can definitely be revised to meet town code. As far as I know, it does meet compliance and I'm working with the town now to figure that out
We are planning on changing to a static mounting system instead of the...
