Check to see if the mainboard fan is working. If not everything gets to hot and causes the head to spontaneously fire all together....I had the problem myself
I had the same problem..Turned out to be main pcb fan had failed and everything got too hot and caused the head to randomly fire all together. I cut a hole in the back cover and put an external fan on to suck the air out and fixed it
That is the whole problem that has been created in the sign industry with wide format printers. Sadly quality has to suffer because of economics. I stay small so I can offer my clients the best I can offer at a reasonable price to suit
I only do the 2pac way but have a friend with a bigger sign company and he gives his customers the option between 2pac and lamination and after his reasoning on durability to exposure over 75% of customers choose 2pac. It is surely a bit more time consuming but you have peace of mind the job is...
That is the glue breaking down in the laminate due to the UV . I am in North Queensland Australia and do not not use laminate for that reason. I clear coat everything with 2pac polyurathane clear and have jobs lasting over

I had the same..check your fan is working on your mainboard ...mine was not... I put an external one on the back cover and fixed the problem..apparently the board gets too hot and causes the head to bleed
Mine started as per your images and got worse and printed random stripes thru the prints...
