Tattoos - Who has them?

I have 5. One on my calf, 3 on upper arms, and working on a full back.

I did all of mine so that I can wear a short sleave shirt, and still hide them.

2 here. It wouldn't take much to talk me into a third on fourth or more.

in about 50 years, the nursing homes will be flooded with little old ladies with droppy tramp stamps that used to be just above their butts that have dropped somewhere down arond their knees...

And a bunch of old men hopped up on viagra will be chasing them!

Not quite there, cause its actually until recently been a biker kinda thing and bikers might not look smart, but, uhm after having beaten a number of them in pool, they are not dumb either!:wine-smi::wine-smi:
I don't really know what that means but tattoos go back to way before ancient Egypt. Pretty sure it had nothing to do with bikers.

Sure....but until the late 80s you mainly saw them on bikers, truckers, sailors, and convicts. You didn't have lines of hot blonde chicks at the beach getting their asses tattooed until the 1990s. Personally I don't have a problem with tattoos....but I look at tattoo artists like I look at vehicle wrap shops....apparently only about 10% of them have any idea what their doing.

Kind of like the girl I was behind at the gas station one day a couple of years ago. The cashier asked her if the name tattooed on the back of her neck hurt asked if it was her daughters name. Nope, the tattooed one replied it was her own name and she had it done so when I guy was getting her from behind he wouldn't forget who he was with.

I don't go to that part of town anymore.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
I've always counseled anyone who wanted a tattoo to get a bumper sticker instead. Then, when you no longer feel as passionate about whatever you currently feel passionate about you can scrape it off your bumper.

Nothing yet. Working on one that might possibly come...

To me, "tramp stamps", where you get it on your lower back, aren't always a good idea. :p Tastefully done on other parts of the body though, can look quite nice imo.

I think most people get a tattoo to be "cool" or "win the admiration of their peers". Just be aware that not everyone will feel the same as you...and in fact some of us actually think the opposite. Probably a lot more of us than will think your tattoo is cool or something to be admired. Of course we would never say that....on account of the "baddass" factor.

I think tattoos are a form of IQ display....but not in a good way. You probably don't want to hear that but I'm probably not the only one who thinks that way. Just sayin'.

I'm with you on that! Maybe old fashioned, but, oh well.
People with tattoos always look dirty to me. Don't mean to offend anyone
but it makes me want to that a shower.
My 36 yr. old daughter is covered in tattoos. Could be a sideshow for
Barnum & Bailey.
