The Man Cave project

Wow thanks! Just what I had envisioned, but had not researched yet. I think those bulbs with the other stuff I have in mind will look killer :)

Those ones are cool but look a little more online. You will find clear filament bulbs like that in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. They even have some real long skinny ones about 2 feet or so.

That website has alot of different ones on it also.

No wet bar. Decided to make this an Amish only man cave with prayer sessions before and after. Apple cider is on the house :)

Alrightie, then. Was out looking at a job yesterday and caught this guy. He said he was on his way down to your place for some fun. They shunned him after he made the announcement, but he said, that's Okay. I liketh me Cider. :omg2:

Just finished up the billiard table light. Really fits the new steampunk table I recently restored. Only thing left is to order some of the old Edison style light bulbs and that should do the trick!

You're not to far off from the direction I was planning to got with the light. I have this oldish, vintagey, looking pool table light that needs some detailing. Wrap around copper pipe, some gears, and if I can find the Edison light bulbs, that would be really cool!

That would really be "Kickazzz"!!! I really hate you Bob... :thumb::rock-n-roll:

I found some at Lamps Plus and ordered them yesterday! Man cave night was last night and the new light really made a huge difference playing on the new table. Mission accomplished, so now on to the next project :)

Finished the steampunk ping pong table a few months ago. On to the next piece of the puzzle.

Looks like a tank. Try to do some copper piping, vacuum tubes and gears if you are trying to pull of the steampunk theme. Clockwork bits key, and everything should look needlessly complicated. For a steampunk pingpong table, something like these come to mind:

OMG, Imagine what kind of trouble you would get yourself into if you did not have this to keep you busy!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. Completely agree, but the ping pong table was a quicky with shop scraps. If I were to make another one, your versions would definitely have been better. This project is not so much a hardcore true to form steampunk endeavor but more of a feel and vibe. I still have several other projects planned which will be a lot more involved and along the lines of steampunk design. Think kegerator with all the suggestions you made.
