I skimmed the thread, but I'm going to summarize the situation because it seems many on here simply have bad information.
1. Mueller's job was to investigate and report on the President. He was never given the directive to file charges against the President in anyway. There is a line of thinking, especially adopted by GOP presidents, that basically says a sitting President cannot go to jail for breaking the law because they are the law. The only way to punish them is to remove them from office via impeachment. This is a quite controversial standpoint because our system is designed to have 3 equal parties and basically it's stating the executive branch is above the legislative branch. Not what was intended when we founded the country.
2. The Mueller report regarding Russia is pretty clear. Basically says Trump campaign and Russia's interests were aligned and there was communication, but there is not strong enough evidence/lacking evidence to tie Trump directly to Russia.
3. The Mueller Report clearly states Russia made a concerted effort to get Trump elected.
4. The report cites numerous situations in which the President obstructed justice. The President told his staff to do various things to stop the investigation or make it run less smoothly. He also himself acted directly to obstruct justice.
5. The report makes it clear that based on #4, there is enough evidence that impeachment is definitely on the table and the avenue Congress must take to move forward if they decide to punish Trump.
Long story short, you need to decide if you're cool with the following.
1. Having a President that obstructs justice.
2. Having a President that is good with Russia involving itself in our election process as long as it benefits him.
3. Having a President that lies constantly and directs his staff to lie, regardless of the situation.
4. Having a President that surrounds himself with criminal activity. Three of Trump's closest allies are going to jail (Stone, Cohen, and Manafort).
