Funny how we've become used to being treated sub-human, being called Nazi's, Magats, Motherf*ckers, the list goes on. I was told to go die, my kids should be removed from my home, etc. I was afraid to put up my American Flag outside. I'm afraid to say anything in public. I'm still afraid to post on FB or any social media. I had a Trump flag hanging in my garage and the neighbor saw it and won't talk to me anymore. I was told by my Realtor to remove any and all indications that I may have voted Trump or I will lose 50% of any buyers. I asked her if she has issues the other way - she said no, never one. People might comment or chuckle but they will still buy.

didn't we ALL learn in Kindergarten that calling people names was unproductive? I think both of your sides are guilty of this....

try using plain facts without any name-calling and see how productive of a conversation you can have... both sides simply saying the other is name-calling seems to be to be a ploy to keep people aggravated and focusing on each other rather than on the real issues causing problems.

I learned it, some people didn't LOL Trump is good for name calling also, you are correct.

I've had a lot of conversations with my best friend who is an old school Bill Clinton Democrat. Her views are 90% the same as mine but she just hates Trump, period. I can tell her all the facts I want, and I do - doesn't matter, she hates him and she won't vote for him or support him. She is coming around to DOGE and thinks its a good idea. I sent her the website and she did some research. She's in HR and has hired A LOT of immigrants, who are here legally. She didn't see the "illegal" side of things until she talked to her boss from California and he told her about all the gang problems they have by the border with TDA. Now she's changing her mind on immigration!

Yes, one can absolutely have civilized conversations with others. She will never vote Trump but she MIGHT vote Republican next time! I have 3 years to lay out my case...

If you remove all the adjectives, slants, useless baggage and emotions, you might get to the REAL meat of the matter. Most people bring too much to the conversation and it clouds their eyes, then their minds.

We just put a sign up for a state representative and my helper had a brief discussion with her and I know they don't/didn't see eye to eye on just about anything, but no harm was done...... so, I think I'll still get paid.

It's all a ruse. Carney is playing the game as he is being coached. When the coach says get a goal, you get a goal (paraphrasing Phil Esposito)! And the goal for the Liberal Party of Canada is to win the next federal election at any cost. And to continue down the road with detrimental policies that make the wealthy wealthier and to make life even more desperate for the rest of Canadians. The Liberal Party of Canada doesn't want the tariffs to go away as this is an easy way of making more off the backs of Canadians and Canadian businesses. Same with the Carbon Tax, like a skunk hiding in plain sight behind a rose...it may look pretty but it still stinks.

A recent survey shows that Canada's real growth GDP is 1.7% (vs US at 18.2%). We can thank excessive immigration, short sighted energy policies, increased taxes, and excessive and wasteful government spending at all levels with little or no real benefit to 99.99% of Canadians. All of this while Canadians still try to crawl out of from the Covid pit.

Love Trump but I'm not a fan of Hegseth. I don't think he's going to be there the entire 4 years.

Something about him like, he goes home at night and cries, or he's going to crumble under pressure, he's inflated his abilities. I understand he has an excellent military record but...IDK...there's a mental health red flag there for me. Can't put my finger on it.
