  1. Question Making stickers and cutting

your playfield already has the holes right? i'd just lay the vinyl down then cut by hand. It might sound hard but you get good at it pretty fast.
  2. ‘Double sided’ banners

i've manually done double sided banners on printers that "don't do double-siding". It's a pain in the ass, but possible, unless your ink is gonna come off of side one when you're printing side 2. it was just a matter of making a mark on the stock on both sides, and lining it up to the same place...
  3. 24" Radius

What is life with no laughter? Glad you figured it out :)
  4. Question Card Perforations in Postcard. How to?

If that's the shape you need (the 'credit card'), chances are your local die-cutting services already has a knife made up. It's a pretty common thing to punch. If you need to get one made, it shouldn't be crazy expensive, but i guess it's all relative to how many copies your doing.
  5. Suggestions What printer and media to print these stickers?

i don't think any printer designed for signage would do a good job of this. i would personally go see my friendly neighbourhood offset printer
  6. Need Help Banner bunches leaving headstrikes Latex 360

i would definitely recommend using the platen protectors. i also found my pvc (i think was an avery product) stuck more as it got older. fresh stock, and protectors on, and it works great, i even did some double sided work recently without issue.
  7. Any good wall mural that doesn't deforms when printing on 360?

phototex is a dream to apply, just make sure to get the grey backed version or your joins will suffer. I've also had great results with the avery 2631 and 2636 films, if you're looking for more 'texture'.
  8. Hate Thieves

I had some old retired guy come up to me on site recently (we were swapping out some old ACM fascia signs with new panels). He says "ooh, those old ones will be worth some money!" I just fobbed him off and got on with it, but later while visiting my mum who was watching "American Pickers", i...
  9. 360 and Onyx

That's on by default. it still only works some of the time. I'm actually a little angry at onyx for and the way the big paid upgrades bring very little to the table, but we buy them hoping for bugfixes. i've left mine at v12 and just learned to work around it all
  10. Stay CS6? Or Upgrade to CC? What am I gaining?

My only complaint is i have to pay for premiere and after effects when i really don't need them for work. If i could get a reduced subscription price for just PS, AI, and ID i'd be a happy man.
  11. Are There Any Good Low Cost Alternative Photo Shop Type Programs?

If you already use/have used photoshop for a decent amount of time... No. If you're new to it, you won't know what you're missing and will probably be ok with GIMP or something.
  12. Need Help Lost my computer, need help with a rush job

If the work's already done, just pull the hard drive!
  13. How do you guys deal with these black rubber lines on vehicles

I'll tuck the vinyl under if i can, otherwise carefully trim it back to the paint.
  14. Discussion Print Heads

i've had an HP latex (300 series) head get to around about 7000ml on occasion I'm happy if they get to 3000, any more than that is just a bonus
  15. Wedding seating chart

i would throw this at my friendly neighbourhood laser cutting outlet, then put a little markup on top (including a "bad taste tax", that thing is uuuugly). The price would be a lot less than the labour required to weed that nonsense to.
