Hello I have a Mimaki JV33-160 DyeSub printer with 6.40FW Version. Ineed to convert it to BS model to use BS4 inks. Can u suggest me a method how to convert this JV33 mainboard to JV33BS to print with BS4 inks. On my JV33 the inkset now showing are SS21/ES3 Sol/AS100 Sol. NOT Showing BS.

Thanks for a quick response....i wil be checking the cables from the head for any loos connection or pop up condition. Buy still Iam confused how it cud happen for all 4 heads..!!!!!! Also i noticed that the each head reley pcb (4nos) have the red LED lighting,,,, which says there is no trouble...

Hello guys,,,my MIMAKI JV5-160 machine is printing YELLOW all over my file / media in full media size in WiDth,,even though the file is half of the media set..... Am confused,,,,is there any procedure to switch ON/OFF the print heads one by one...so that may be I can identify that which head is...

The banding happens mostly when ur media is not flowing smooth,,,or ur heater temporature is not appropriate,,,,or may be the damper of the respective color got weak... And ofcorse u can try the newly introduced map settins in the machne jv33 with -10% value...this will make u clear print....

yes,,,the original print head coming with the head memmory pcb connected to it..

it is a newly installed machine (25-07-2015).....humidity is normal,,,room temp normal....ink limits no issues.....bcoz all other profiles & passes are printing very fine.

hiii,,,my friend,, as u said that the moving carriage hit the docking station & thereafter you missed yellow,,, i think that the yellow pump's input tube get disconnected from the bottom side of the capping. (Capping = Where the head goes & rest, a rubber pad with a metal plate with holes...

yessss,,,,i swap the yello data to cyan,,and the problem was with cyan,,,half portion of cyan is not firing ,,,, but here i saw a difference that the remaining portion of cyan is NOT firing the whole way it moves,,,but before the yello does,,,!!!!!! Confused !!!! :(

Well,,thts sounds cool,,,,anyhow iam waiting for a slider pcb to be replaced,,,i hope it may solve the trouble,,,, the main board will be the last chance as iam well aware about tht the transistor alone canot be replaced from the main board,,,,thanks :)
