Contact Mimaki with your model and serial number and they can email you the CSV file as your machine was when it left the factory.
You may still have to do adjustments , but at least you have a base point on where to start.

Hi Joe Digiprint supplies seem to have the best prices for the heads. Mimaki direct are more expensive.Alignment tools consist of some smal micrometers , however I have done it without using them and just leave the mounting screws semi tight and push or pul the heads to get them...
HI If you can get into service mode you can change the date back a few months and that will work, however how old are the inks?
if they are more than 12 months expired I would not use them as they could block the heads..
I know this will work as I have done it many times.
Good luck

Agreed what he said above. The Jv 33 and Cjv 30 would have to be the best machine that mimaki have ever made for reliability and durability. If I can get them second hand I will buy them.
Simple to use simple to repair.
Its just a workhorse!!

HI It is possible that the head has an air leak. I have had this now on more than 5 heads (CA4). What happens is the ink tube from the damper where it actually goes into the head is glued with epoxy and that glue disintergrates over time and the tube starts to break away from the head...
Try going into color edit in rasterlink and create a "condition" in the left column. When this is done the density control will become active and then reduce the overal density of ink to a lower amount. You may have to try several times to get it where its putting down enough ink without...
Hi
Is the wiper actually wiping the head?
I have seen some that are on the "thick " setting that just miss the head at the rear.
After it has done its wipe go to maintenence station out and move it across to the left and have a look and see if there are any droplets on the head as there should...
Hi
It appears to me that you head is blocked, do a nozzle soak overnight (turn off the power at the switch after you have set a time)
function , maintenence, carriage, down button then look for nozzle wash, follow prompts on screen.

Clean the encoder strip behind the head carriage and all the way along with iso alcohol very gently and make sure the strip is in the correct position in /out of the holders, what I see is stepping in the print most likely from dirty encoder strip.
