I believe there is a problem setting up an Edge I/II using the same Gerber USB cable (type). This is because the cables have the same VID/PID and when GQMgr looks up where the device is (searching the system registry) it uses the first one it finds.
If you had the older Gerber USB to Parallel...
In GSPPLOT you should try selecting a color profile (ICC file) that specifies CMY (no K). That type of profile will attempt to compensate to no black. If you selected a CMYK profile and just said not to print black it should have been a little lighter. The key is based on the original image how...
For extension cables you might be better off with a powered hub. I'm not sure what the official USB cable length is and if the signals are weak you will have nothing but headaches.
I think that the only issue is if you unplug and plugin the cable in different USB ports the system gets messed up. If you leave everything in its initial setup it should work fine.
I've asked TechSupport and if they state anything different I will repost.
I do not know anything about ProfileLab but will assume they are using GCode to command the router. I think the GCode in the Sabre ONLY supports Z initialization from the table top and NOT from any other surface. Now ProfileLab may handle this or not but it's the only thought that pops into my...
EPS - did you select the import filter in Omega or just select "All"?
If you did not try selecting "EPS - (GSP 2.5) EPS as Vector"
Was it from CorelDraw or CorelPhotoPaint?
Import the file back into CorelDraw, what do you get?
After you install the Omega 5.0 fix you say it was fixed, now you say it's broken again. Did you reload Omega by chance? Everyone that I have sent this fix to has been happy and has not reported back that it's broken again.
To test things you can go to the SafeNet site and download the driver and install it.
There should also be one on the Omega 4.0 DVD. (Misc folder) you can install it separate from the general Omega install.
The one on the web site is the latest, one version ahead of the DVD version...
James, I would say it depends on your versions of Omega / Signlab. At one time we were leapfroging each other with the SafeNet (Sentinel) driver but I now believe SignLab as you mentioned uses a HASP key (bought by SafeNet) and Gerber still uses the Sentinel key. From the Windows Start menu...
Ditch, I sent you a PM also.
I have no clue whats going on, I'm just reporting the issue to Service and letting you know what they said. Hopefully when the issue is resolved someone will report back here so we all know the cause.
Tony, I passed your into on to the head of Support - you do not seem to be the only one having this type of problem. If no one contacts you in a week or so email me and I'll bug them again. With 220/225 you should not have to put any tape on the wipers. I'm wondering the the "base plates" the...
