Hey Wayne,
We lettered about 40 kayaks a few years back. It's true that nothing seemed to want to stick to that polyethylene. Customer says they're holding up great though. I can't find my pictures of them, but there are a few on this page on their site -...
Unless it DOES work - for a month or so - and then fails. I guess I could warn the customer that I was experimenting but I'd hate to do that if I didn't have to!
So if I was going to spray an automotive paint on perf to match windows to the rest of a van -
Has anyone here tried this? Any tips or warnings?
Anybody have a guess how long it will hold up? I will be applying optically clear overlaminate.
I'm doing a van for a medium volume longtime customer. He's always done white before but now he has this metallic grey transit he wants lettered.
He wants me to cover the side window and rear windows with printed perf so they "disappear". What would y'all do?
I'm printing eco-sol and planning...

Okaaayy then I'll just see myself out...
But on my way I'll just mention that if you right click on it and select Edit Bitmap you can use the bevel tool in Photo-Paint http://corelphoto-paintx5.pp.ua/Applying_Bevel_effects.html
As niksagkram said, Photoshop is often more powerful...
I was staring at those letters and the pig, trying to see some minute evidence of a bevel, and finally noticed the enormous bevel along the edge!! What version are you running? In X6 if you go window>dockers>bevel all your dreams will come true
Hey Colin, did you have any luck with this? I've seen it a few times as well and haven't figured it out. If I open it on a different computer (X6 and doesn't have RVW palette installed, not sure if both of those conditions are necessary though) I can fix it.
Hi, anyone out there using any of these products? I believe there are 2 mactacs. I'd like to find someone I could send a call tag to, or I would happily pay with PayPal or credit card, to get samples of these materials. I have sent Fellers a request but haven't gotten a reply. Thanks!

Hi y'all, I have tried searching but I'm still learning how to massage the search tool and I'm not finding what I need. I'm running a Roland Eco-Sol vp-540. If I need to cut a roll down to 53" so be it. I asked for some help with a project the other day...
We have a client that we made a few 3'x6' and 2'x6' alupanel signs for. My understanding was that they were going on a building. Well he's ordering more of them and he told me that he ended up mounting them on his trailer and that 2 of them blew off while he was on the expressway..! He...
Yeah I agree. I have several customers that appreciate the fact that I can help them turn their idea into concise and effective copy; it's one of the things that help me differentiate my services.
Anecdotal info and an opinion
Speaking specifically of Disney I can say with some experience that they are selective in their copyright enforcement - for years we (and countless other shops) have printed shirts for families/organizations that are going to DW/DL. They pretty much always have...
