I've seen the opposite. IJ40 has way less tack as it is removable. IJ35 sticks good, real good. If the IJ35 is working good for your ACP panels, I would say it's the surface of the PVC that might be giving you problems (which was mentioned above).

Would be interesting to see how it could possibly be a head issue. If you print and read your patches correctly, the RIP and printhead should be "on the same page".

If there is a problem with epson inks - that would be scary

Maybe something happened to the head so it doesn't perform the way it did previously. But re-profiling should bring things back to normal - color gurus agree?

Hi Jester do you have a liquid lam? I think the Epson inks are pretty fragile... whereas the latex are pretty tough. Liquid lam would definitely be a good way to solve the issue with the Epson.

That's how a cheap 6 month promotional laminate would look. Metamark says 7 years for this product code. If you're sure you used the right lam for this job, I would complain to them and if they don't help, switch to something else.

I would not give a customer anything unlaminated to a customer out of the surecolor.

And cover up the other side with another sign or something rigid so you don't see the globs of silicone.
