I can't help with a referral, however I would try to get the client to reconsider going under 1 GB, when I get a USB stick, of its under 1gb it goes in the trash, useless.

Welcome to the Roland VG printers, we had the same issue on multiple VG 640 machines, Roland flew in techs from California and noone could figure out why it's doing it, we ended up selling the printer back to the dealer and bought an Epson with a graphtec plotter, much happier now.

Try printing marks on regular vinyl, then apply them overtop of the marks on the chrome

I agree, we havn't stocked canvas in almost 10 years, we get about 1 request a year for it, not a big seller

We have a FC-8600 cutter that is about 2 years old. I'm having an issue when i cut graphics from onyx using cut server. If I set the cutter to read "multiple marks" in onyx, it will either search for them and not find them, or it will roll the print on the floor because it rolls it out too far...

The material we use in our retractables has a texture to the face to make it non-glare, I assume that is what they mean.

What issues are you having with Versaworks? I use Onyx now, but I worked with Versaworks for 10+ years and I remember it worked well for about 95% of what we did.

My understanding of 3rd party ink is if you find a brand that you are happy with and doesn't cause issues, stick with it! So many horror stories on here from people trying to save a few pennies. If the new vendor is only pricematching, I wouldn't be willing to jump from a product you are happy...
