Mine did the exact same thing. I sent it to my dealer who sent it to Summa and said it wasn't repairable they just wanted me to purchase another one. I haven't been able to get the broken one back but thought about approaching someone with a 3d printer to see if it would be possible to replicate.

How long is your usb cable? Have you tried plugging it in to ethernet and usb simultaneously? Can you share a screenshot of SCC before you send a cut file?

How is the dashed line built? It may be something that needs expanded in illustrator so it recognizes each dash as an independent item instead of one continuous path that only displays as a dash
