FB's are solid printers but they are outdated, there are many better technologies at the moment printing better and faster.

The alignment pins will be very helpfull for you, they work very good for that. Adhesion has been great in acrylic and PETG, zero issues on that matter, We have only needed primer with glass.

You should also see the swissqprint Impala or Nyala. Similar printer but faster, more reliable and prints perfect on all those materials. We love ours.

Multicam makes good routers. if you need router/cutter we love our ESKO, have no idea how we did it without it. Has taken the company to another level.

You can use it without oce. How easy to use depends on the rip. I use with onyx and caldera. Caldera is easier than caldera to make profiles. But both are easy to use.

You need custom profiles. Some manufacturers have horrible general profiles. also a translucent profile is generally used for backlit applications so you need to use light behind it to see the correct colors and saturation. i recommend the barbieri LFP, worth every penny.

Could be a bad head or that you didn't do the density measures correctly. Before the ink limits you do density measurements. those are the two more probable causes.

You are probably dropping to much ink or need to restrict inks better to print at that speed. HP profiles use 2 much ink. I print vinyl at 8 pass flawlessly.

Yes HP backlight is crap. It hold ink very good but it flakes bad. it is the coating that has the adhesition problem not the ink. your solution is to buy other brand of backlight.
