Same here. And we constantly do complete 170FT rolls with no problem. sometimes feed manually when rolls are 1/4 or less in length.

For latex printers in onyx 10 the option is where you set the number of passes, cure temperature, etc. just below the number of passes if I remember correctly. theres a box there that you need to mark that reads something like extra ink, don't remember the exact words.

You need to profile and make a ICC to match color of files. Online you might be able to find some, but nothing like your own. You need a Spectrophotometer.

Yes you probably have it as another substrate. The machine doesn't cut some substrates like textiles and when you tell it to cut it just move a forward.

Duratrans is glossy! they both work but some mate laminates can make colors look a bit more pale.

Reverse print in Clear lexan and screen print white on the back., then add clear adhesive and face mount to the tray. lexan prints come out beautiful on HP latex and adhesives work very well with it. i have some great lexan profiles for the L26500, using onyx.

I would bet is a head related issue. Sometimes heads stop firing during a print. It can even be the lights colors, grey reflect this kind of problems the most. Its most likely a cyan or light cyan head. Just replace it and you are good to go.

There is some amazing backlit banner out there. It comes out beautifull in latex, I'm sure you can do something similar in uv or ecosolv.

Have you cleaned and lubricated the rails? there has to be something wrong with your printer, I have a few of these printers and don't get these messages. Insists to HP to find what part is not working. We print many complete rolls over night without any issue.

Limiting the ink and printing at a higher number of passes will fix a lot of issues. Don't be afraid of using higher number of passes, it actually uses the same amount of ink. It's just more time. The printer works great for leaving complete rolls over night. They are solid machines.

I demoed the swissqprint at their facility in NY. I had great service and it looked like a very standup company. They have a bunch of swissqprinters installed in the US, around 30.

Fully loaded, conveyor and everything, I got quoted 120k. But I'm in Mexico so in the US should be cheaper.
