Many of the people on this board have been in the sign industry for a very long time. They have dealt with countless numbers of clients and made some mistakes along the way. Through those mistakes, they have learned to read people, their motivations, and what they really want. Occasionally our...
We built a dryer around a box fan blowing air up through the prints from the bottom. Believe it or not, the moving air will not let the dust settle on the prints.
I'll give a description now and try to take a picture tomorrow. Basically, it is a 22" wooden square vertical tub and the box fan...
I hope you all are starting in the front and working your way back so the vertical seams are facing forward... That's how the Pro-fessionals get more work...
That sucks. Try banging the duct tape into the crevices of the brick or block with a rivet brush. If you have to move it, fold the old one around back and use a new piece of tape. It only works well once. I would have a weather clause, wind and/or rain.
Just had a thought, what about attaching...
With my old Graphtec 3100 100 I had to buy a crossover adapter, then I bought a USB adapter for the computer because it was cheaper than a serial card. That may or may not help...

It's a great tool but If you don't have enough jobs to justify the expense use a 4 in. x 3/8 in. High-Density Foam Mini Paint Roller with Frame and make sure you buy a 6 pack of extra foam rollers. With 3M's textured vinyl it's more about the heat than the roller. Make sure your heat gun is as...
I know several shops that specialize in vehicle wraps that require a deposit to schedule a job. They are extremely busy and have a lot of employees to keep busy. When someone doesn't show up it used to mess up their workflow so bad that they were leaking money. They charge $200 to schedule the...
Don't forget to add the time it takes you to cut the sheet down and clean off all the shavings. In my world, both of those would be the same price and I would try and talk them into the full sheet.
Maybe this has been mentioned, but why don't you just go to him and add a travel charge. With certain customers, it makes more sense to send someone out. Obviously, this won't work in winter, but it may solve a lot of both of your problems.
