I think there is a good market for neon signs in New Orleans. Also, neon signs are great for an interior application. I can get the equipment relatively cheap ($2000) that's why I want to know the total cost of having it on the list of services I provide (cost of the equipment + learning time).

Hello. One of our potential clients wants us to make a "pre-leasing" sign for him. The sign should stand by itself, 7ft x 4ft. No concrete. I think metal poles would not hold the 4x7 sign panel for too long. Is there a good way to make a frame of 2x4's for a sign to stand by itself? Thank you.

Hello. How do you achieve the perfectly flat surface? We have a frame made of 2x4s, 3/4" MDO on the top and a rhino mat. There are spots where you still can push a piece of paper between a ruler and the table top. Thank you.
