First of all, your reseller should have installed the unit and taught you how to use it. If they did not, you need to contact Epson and let them know and they will have a field engineer not only assist you but they will make sure the reseller is re-instructed to prevent this in the future. I use...
The only way this was a perfect fit is if CP only sold roll to roll machines. Did they carry another flatbed option at the time? If not then they where not lying to you. Printing direct should always be faster than two and three step and the printer can give you a white option if needed. Maybe...
grass is always greener...Are you happier with your current role and the added responsibilities? It sounds like you are new to the game...I am assuming in your twenties...age doesn't really matter here. I always look to these jobs as stepping stones. This won't be your last job. Be a sponge...
I think what is lost is that you are also a customer in this equation. I outsource small doc all the time. I have 4-5 printers that I use. When I pick up an order, I open it before I leave and make sure its correct. If I'm not happy my customer won't be...I can tell you I am pickier than my...
I have never know the roll to roll version of the lej to be a speed demon. If you knew this machine was problematic and replaced it at 5 months how did you lose $750000 in business? It sounds like you put a stop loss in quick enough. Roland is a solid company. They have been for many years. I...
Firstly, Congrats! We have had one for about a year now and it is a beast! It may not be the fastest printer but the IQ is close to the Swiss Q. We run most items in 3-4 pass for production...the color white color is slow but if you price it right and run in off hours can be very profitable. The...
can you convert you printer to use white and silver spots, yes if the driver/model supports it...can you throw an orange spot into your printer...Im sure its possible, just not sure how the rip would control it or who make it compatible with your printer and model.
so...you can go from color to white or silver and not the other way around. no head needed...maybe a cleaning cartridge, flush from sac menu and a refill/color set change
if Flexi allows you to print with Roland crop marks you can do this. If not, I don't think your Roland will cut correctly. Onyx has issues with certain printers...but its worth a 30 day demo to see if your combination works.
you installed 220 power for this printer. Have you confirmed that power is not spiking to high when the heaters are turning on? Looks electrical to me. I would put an amp clamp on my lines and watch to see how stable your power is running. If you are up over 230v, that is your problem.
couple of problems, one is the design of this laminator. You have se heights that it can be set to. You will never be accurate when just laminating. You have a zero point then maybe 1/8" 3/16" etc....zero is never zero. 3.5 mil vinyl, 3.6mil lam...thicker then zero thinner then whatever number...
if the roll is older it could be plasticizer migration... not a whole lot you can do. To test if its the media, clean a section with isopropyl alcohol then print on it after it dries...
where you trying to load the software on an external drive? Personally never saw this error before unless a thumb drive or external drive is being used.
