I'm confused...never had to mess with a profile until now...Does that mean you have never created a profile? Linearized or calibrated a canned profile? If so, why did you buy this printer? You could have saved yourself money and touch a 315 or a 335.
You changed tour ecosystem by upgrading your...
You can run in single head mode to buy yourself some time on troubleshooting the defective head.
if you call Epson with an Ethernet issue..they want to start your device with a new head.
Your blacks look greenish? Do you build your files in cmyk or rgb? I’m guessing cmyk. I always work in rgb, the rip will convert everything to cmyk. Running a color calibration on your 335 should resolve that.
The other thing to look at is your build of black. You don’t need anything more than...
first version of the TruVis was a nightmare...the resolution of the heads is less than the competitors...for what you are doing...go with an epson s40 plus a summa vinyl cutter with tangential blade...same cost as the tru vis
I demo the Colex recently...its pretty solid. I was impressed with their manufacturing facility and their next day EOT repair return policy. Summa takes 2-3 months. I have a firm working/service knowledge of the Summa and I'm in the market. Colex actually has a licensed version of the software...
I'm not sure what true cmyk gets you either except a smaller color gamut. If you need a cmyk only profile, you can create one onboard with a hp l365 or 560. Or better yet, buy 2 epson s80's with an Ione color meter for the same price as the Ricoh
usually caused by vibration across the rail with these printers. the 700/750 are worse because they are wider. Things to check scan axis motor could have black dust building up inside from bushings wearing down...easy to check. Carriage rail could be dirty or not oiled...too obvious for it to...
If you bought early 2018 then yes...you may have had issues...there have been 4-5 firmware releases since then....no different then when the latex 360 could not print red....fixed within a few days with a firmware update.
I put the R in this July...could not be happier....I have had 1 major...
The FB color in general can be a little flakey...highly recommend investing in an IOne and relinearizing your profiles. HP has had an issue with cyan...I would shake cyan and magenta.
using third party ink? if so, any profile not created specific for the inset and that media will not be 100% accurate...you may get close or good enough....
almost all of the profiles in versa works are for Roland branded material...does anyone actually use these? so my advise if you have no...
The proper way is to have a drum on the premises and pay for proper disposal...any reseller looking to sell a unit will tell you kitty liter...unproper ways of disposal will come back to haunt you usually through a disgruntled employee or former employee that calls the 1800 number for the...
Also, you can go to HP and become a self maintainer...if mechanical inclined. Then you purchase a parts contract with or without a printhead allotment and provide your own service to your printer. You can always call another tech in if the job is beyond your limits.
