For drying prints, we just use these and leave the prints standing on end loosely rolled for 24-48 hours. We lay them out flat to air dry for at least a half-hour before rolling them up. We also run a floor fan and sometimes add a half-second print delay for profiles that lay down a lot of ink...

Not so much if your print area is clean. We use a floor fan all the time and dust never shows under our laminate but we keep our print room relatively dust-free and it's separated from the rest of the production area.

We use Orajet 3651RA with Oraguard 210 laminate. Not the best white point, but great all-around media.

I'd definitely want the laminate, myself. Printed or not, it's still a 2 mil film and would be flimsy to work with. I suppose maybe there are some people who might be able to do it, but I wouldn't want to. I would assume a laminate also makes removal easier.

We already took a chance going non-OEM in the first place, in my opinion, so I'm willing to try anything once but only if it's recommended by others. The advantage, as I saw it, is the fact that they carry a lot of media that we normally have to go through three different vendors to acquire...

Yeah, and that's the feedback I kind of expected. I'd never heard mention of these inks until yesterday and the forum search feature wasn't turning up anything either. I figured if there wasn't much talk about them they probably aren't worth trying.

They are local and offer a wide variety of the media we currently use and were willing to work with us on pricing so I thought I'd give them a shot since they also carry SS21 inks. Is that not a good enough reason?

I've got a vendor in our immediate area who wants to earn our business and has been able to match or beat some current prices on our media and inks. They can also match our current prices on non-OEM inks but we're currently using Bordeaux ink and have had good results as they were recommended on...
