Hello everyone,
We have recently decided to print on ACM with our flatbed. We use L100 inks and are getting odd smudges or issues every once in awhile. We have torn the laminate off and printed, we have torn the laminate off and wiped with alcohol(even worse) and we have 3 - JFX200 printers...
So I have been more testing and it appears the kiss cut is dead on towards the edge pinch rollers of the summa but the ones in the middle get off and then back towards the other edge they get dialed back in some.
I have done the OPOS calibration several times
Hello White Haus, thanks for getting back to us. Yes we are using feeds and I have cut some circles a month or so ago that were perfect and then we got busy and could not devote time to the printer and cutter and now I am back training and practicing and the circle cuts are not aligned to the...
Thanks Ikarusa,
I will definately reach out to the company that sold us everything but I appreciate your help and input. To me the biggest issue I am dealing with is the kiss cut being off from the graphic even though the lines are in the right place in the cut file in relation to the graphic...

Hello we have one of our Mimaki JFX200 macines acting up. We have been getting the system fault error SYSTEM HALT (*) 509 : HDC POSCNT. It is happening in the middle of the print job usually toward the back of the machine and the head assembly stops at or near the the capping station.

We have a 4 x 8 table flatbed printer and I was wondering if any of you have every increased your suction with a larger vacuum pump on your flatbed printer?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge but are all of these printers able to print on banner material? Textile material, like fabric for pillows, canvas for artwork?
Also, since I am in the UV flatbed world, are there certain things to contend with for latex or solvent? I believe solvent needs drying...
We are looking for advice on the best entry level roll to roll $15k-$30km under 72 inches most likely.
Our early focus would be to make make die cut stickers so we are needing the printer and wanting to go with a summa or graphtec cutter most likely the Graphtec FC9000.
We were leaning towards...
Hello, could someone please guide me to a solution to manufacture die cut stickers and labels. Trying to find a fest efficient machines that might be used by some of the bigger sticker and label companies.
Looking for something that might even include labels being cut with lasers etc...
So it sounds like to me if we want to be a player in the DOT sign industry, the HP365 is a good place to start. It will allow us to print other products as well, like banners and vinyl. I am concerned some of you are not real happy with the printer. Is it a printer that is going to give us fits?
Wow, thanks for the response Commando. I may have misunderstood, I thought maybe the certification was because of special inks or something. Appreciate your help, although now I am concerned that buying the HP365 might be a mistake. In all honesty we are not trying to become this huge...
I do have a follow up question, if we go with the HP365 I assume 3M will provide the exact inks that need to be used. SO my question is I am sure the HP365 can print in other capacities, banners other vinyl etc. So are these 3M inks more expensive making the machine use hard to use for other...
Just so I am understanding some of the responses. We are looking more for longevity outdoors with reflective material. Is 3M the only product that will get us 10 years outdoors? Is 3M who actually regulates traffic signs? I assume this is set by the DOT?
Sorry, just trying to learn more...
