  1. Track saw or panel saw

TS55. I think the model number has changed today. I like it because to rip a 4x8 sheet on a panel saw you need 16’ of floor space. With a track saw you can easily do that on a 4x8 table.
  2. Track saw or panel saw

Never had room for a panel saw. Bought the Festool track saw. It mobile and I can make angle cuts with it.
  3. Checking color with device

I was told by Cadlink to get the Nix tool to match colors. 4. UCJV300-160 Pinch rollers mark on a vinyl surface

I have seen this too. I have a JV150. It only does this I think for about the first foot of print. I tried lowering the wheels very slowly but the initial contact from the wheels leaves a dent in the vinyl and as far as I know, there are no pinch wheel pressure settings like I had on my...

  12. Mimaki JV300 Plus or Epson SureColor S40600

Vendor just advised JV150 no longer in stock. Also look at the JV100. Both JV300 and JV100 have two heads. Very expensive when you have a head strike!
  13. Mimaki JV300 Plus or Epson SureColor S40600

I will Ask about this. They never offered this to me, nor did I ask. I also saw somewhere that Mimaki had discontinued support for this printer as it’s been discontinued. I do like newer and better technology but prefer to stay with the brand I know. The learning curve is not steep.
  14. Mimaki JV300 Plus or Epson SureColor S40600

I currently have a Mimaki JV150-160. Previous to that I also had a Mimaki CJV-130. Had a little strike and jets are firing about 50%-%70. Not very knowledgeable about cleaning heads, just do the cleaning cycles and stuff. Looked into changing the head myself. Also looking into possibly...
  15. Looking for laminator recommendation

I know 99% of things today are made in China. I did look at the Chinese laminators. They look nice and the prices are very reasonable. But how long will they last? And will they be trouble free and will they give you support, will parts be readily available? More to consider than price...

  19. Need Help Can you print on Avery V2000

Hi. Oralite is my preferred choice for reflective on vehicles. Took a little getting used to because it’s not as supple as 3M. Kinks a little easier. But the game changer is the cost compared to 680i and it’s 54” wide!!!! Means you stick one size laminate and wider prints mean bigger...
