I am making a post panel sign using White pre finished Crezon one side. The other side has a Swanson Backer paper. My question is should I prime and paint this side or is the Swanson Back exterior ready as is? Asking because I normally buy the two sided White pre finished product. Thank you...
It’s your business. You owe no favours to no one and you need to make a profit to continue to stay open so you can still be able to make their signs. If they buy 22% less then they have nothing to complain about.
I used the Porter Cable and they didn’t last. Cheaper no brand guns lasted longer. Now I use a cordless Milwaukee which is great! And I bought two Steinel heat guns. With the digital readout and variable speed fan and heat. Also bought the temp reader that snaps on the top so I know what...
I had two Mimaki’s so far, the CJV130 and the JV150-160. Heads are crazy expensive. Next machine I will go with Epson. Technology is newer and just by looking at the machines they also seem better built.
Oralite 5650RA. Thin and lightweight. Pulls thru cutters easily when cutting even with laminate. And the greatest feature over ALL other printable reflectives is that it’s 54”!!!!! You can use your standard sized laminate and make things that much larger. I do between 20-30 ambulances a yr...
Never cut 1/2” acrylic but I know they have special blades to cut that. If your budget is low, get a track saw. Festool is German made, at least May saw is. It’s very versatile and mobile. And there are so many accessories you can buy like the MFT table.
Never cut 1/2” thick acrylic. Usually 1/8” to 1/4”. Don’t remember the blade I used but I’d you check the Festool site there might be blades recommended for different materials. My saw and a 4’ track was $650. Can set it up to work outside on a nice day too! A very accurate saw.
